Sources & disclaimer

Civic information changes. We preserve source context and make uncertainty visible.

Published records

Representative details are compiled from published official records such as Parliament, state legislatures, election authorities, and government directories.

Independent service

Civic India and Infigram Technologies are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official service of the Government of India, any state government, Parliament, or a legislature.

Verify important decisions

The service is informational. Officeholders, vacancies, contact details, and boundaries can change. For official or time-sensitive use, verify the information with the relevant public authority.

Primary source systems

Start with the authority closest to the fact.

These public systems are examples of the official sources used during verification. Individual state legislatures and election authorities are also consulted.

Method

Three different facts. Three different layers.

Boundaries

Geographic constituency definitions are stored separately from election and officeholder records.

Election records

A latest general-election winner is not silently treated as a verified current representative.

Current rosters

Vacancies, by-elections, and roster dates are reconciled before current status is promoted.
